Second is a more heavy osage pyramid flatbow 65 inch n/n 125# at 30 inches. quote] 125#! I thought I was the only one dumb enough to pull a bow with enough poundage to break ribs when it comes apart! LOL I too have a 30 inch draw... Can you scratch your knees without bending over too? Gotta give credit to an old guy that can still pull a 125# bow at his advanced age (wink) Guess ya aint just a pretty face... BTW, Get a haircut ya hippy!

Swampyeti... That's a great lookin bow.. I'd proudly use it. The tiller looks great too. I prefer my bows a little longer than RedThunder, 60 inches works great for me. (I hate finger pinch... One of many reasons I dislike compounds

Just teasing you my overseas friend... The "scratching your knee without bending over" is a joke about long arms like a monkey... my friends tease me about that here. Wow, 140#! I never tried that high of a weight, at 125 lbs, all my arrows folded in half on the release. I mentioned rib breaking power, because I had a 125 lb bow fail at the handle... The string, still held by my right hand, acted as a pivot, while the two pieces of the bow swung around and hit me on BOTH sides, with rib cracking power.

Yup, I'm pretty much resembling a silverbacked gorrilla these days, but I have a pretty face and more hair thundermoon, that bow you showed looks much like the hickory bow I have,'cept mines made from one piece (no glued on handle riser) If you lightly string it backwards when you store it, it'll remove some of the "Set" in the bow. Looks like the dummy that owned it before left it full strung. Nuthin wrong with a little set in a bow, but leavin it strung is just losin draw weigt over time. Swampyeti, lookin forward to you showin that snakey bow man. Looks like we pretty much highjacked your thread with all things bow related, and I'm sorry... we'll try to keep our own pics in our own threads from now on.
