Just thought that I would share a pic of a little bag that I made as a "thank you" for someone. I believe I spent a whole afternoon if not longer on cutting and making just the fringe. It kind of reminds me of some of the pics that I've seen of items that were used in some of those old wild west shows. Anyways, I had fun both making it and giving it away. paweaver

Paulette,
Thanks, I went looking in my stash for beads, but when I found these bells.... while the pic says what happened. Boy your girls are growing fast. Ugh! So are mine.
Snow, na not much yet. Just a sprinkle now and then, but it's getting colder so I know that it is coming.
taosdjango,
Thanks, I'm lucky to get to work with my husband's hides. Problem is we are a little bit like the old shoe maker whose children went shoeless. We handle braintan daily, I should have made a lot more things from it. lol I have a long want to make list.

Thanks Everyone! The funny thing is the bag went to someone who has never held braintann in their hands and problably has no idea of the effort that went into the bag. LOL His first words were, "Oh my, it's soft!" Then he had his wife come touch it.

Aww . Sounds like the person appreciated your gift. Thoughtful of you to give a little gift for thankfulness, PA Weaver. Done that before myself and folks are very touched with something crafted by hand. That's hard to come by these days! Yes our kids sure are growing up fast! Too fast, lol. Our babies aren't such babies any more!
