Very nice looking sheath, Lawren! Can you take any more pics of it? Did you line it with rawhide? take you awhile to make? It looks great.

Billy, that knife has a rosewood handle. I made five knives from that one mower blade and gave three of them rosewood and copper handles. All of them got those types of sheath. Where I work for Kroger, we package coffee and spices... Pallets come in from exotic locales, and what is scrap wood to the locals there, oft costs us $300 a board foot for us. I have seen entire pallets made of teak, rosewood, ebony, etc. Needless to say, I don't pay for handle scales. As an industrial mechanic, I snag all of the Bearing races I can grab, as well as roller chain, 304 stainless, and anything else I can talk the plant engineer into writing me a ticket for (grin)
BTW, all of the sheathes are sewn with copper bell wire.

Those are some nice looking knives. This is one of my knives, the handle is antler, the blade is Gold Shien Obsidian, I used pine pitch and elk sinew to a fix the blade to the handle.
