North to Cree Lake by A.L. Karras. "In the autumn of 1932, two young brothers left the comforts of home to spend the next seven winters deep in the wilds of northern Saskatchewan as proffesional trappers. They decided to escape civilization and the Depression for life on one of the few remaining frontiers, the Old North, when it was still a land of mystery and deep silences."
Got this book at the library and really enjoyed it. True tales about life in the Canadians wilds.
