Hm... cool looking B. I took a pic of my little skull collection.. for the all hallows eve around the corner. This is 2 fox, a badger and a bear skull, I no longer have the bears lower jawbone.. (knife material) thinking to use the teeth for bag decoration. a close up of the badger.. all I did was wash this with the pw after simmering a little while.. perhaps i simmered too long? anyway the inner cavity of the badgers brain didn't come clean of the blood well enough.. either that or too much simmering and it was absorbed into the skull? I dunno.. might whiten up from the sun in time or something.. still looks pretty cool. The badgers are so awesome.. might try and get some of that Rittels EZ 100 for the skin.. SUre ain't even going to TRY braintanning the fur. You need to have everything just right for braintanning furs and I have more than one thing to do around here. Otherwise braintanning them would be great. Too bad I have SO many other things to do that always seem to take priority! Spooky looking these skulls aren't they? lol

thanks yall. i too like the natural skull look. that kind of off white yellow color. but these were done for other people who wanted bright and shiny instead of natural. i'll post a picture of the one i did for myself and you'll see i left it off white color. those are some good looking skulls joann. i like the way that bottom one had the blood stain in it. hopefully it don't smell too bad. ;D
