Just thought I would share what I've been working on. It is Finished! My goal this year is a first quality bag for each of my children. This is the first one. Now I have two other small projects to finish and then it is on to Phoenix's surprise. I'm already trying to decide bead colors. Hint. Hint. Now I just need to get Loren to give up some leather.lol I really like how the bag turned out. It is made so that you can wear it diagonal from shoulder to hip or as a belt bag using the strap as you belt. On to the next project, paweaver

Oh Eric,
You are so kind. I guess I shouldn't tease on the web, because people can't see facial expression. Loren is my husband and we (More him than me) braintann for a living. So basically I just need to lay claim to a hide before it is sold. ;D Which can sometimes be a challenge. Sell hides pay bills; keep too many hides bills add up.
You make so many beautiful things. You are an inspiration to me. Someday I'm going to make shoes or sandals. I have a friend who is a shoe repairman. He is always after me to make my own sandals.

I thought you were referring to Lawren Wimberly (Phoenix) and had mis-spelled his name. It all makes sense now.

LOL
And here I thought I was being plain by calling Lawren Phoenix. I thought I would confuse people by using the two (loren, lawren) in one post.

That's alright Liza, the lady at the Pharmacy today asked me how I was related to her (Lawren) today. Imagine her confusion when when I said "I AM her!" The pharmacist (who knew me) had to stop counting pills 'cause he was laughing so hard he lost count. I looked at the woman and said "Now you know why I took up boxing!"

Had the women at the bank tell me that "she" had to be there or I had to co-sign her check to cash it and I had to explain to her that "Loren" was me. Actually, the female spelling would be Lauren. I also had a teacher who would say "Laurie" exactly like he said Loren, so I often thought he was talking to me when he wasn't.

WOW! A terrific job on the bag - you should be, and I know you are, very proud of it. I love it all . . . the beadwork, the weaving and what a great design that can be used in several different ways! Thanks for sharing!
