This hawk is a wrap around with wrought iron on the outside. The bit is file steel. Handle is Curly maple with a torch toaste,Then couple coats of danish walnut oil. Need to put some more coats of wax on it. Some copper tacks. I need to etch the blade in some vinger .

thats ok. did not mean to rush ya.. i guess thats one negative of vinegar that and it smells lol.. compared to the commercial stuff. but the price is right.. i can get a 2 gallons of vinegar for like 1.50. at the local store.. and not have to try to find a rat shack.. most of them have closed around here anyhow. i can remember as a kid when radio shack was on every corner. times sure have changed.
