I thought I needed to redo some handle on some knives was not happer with it. This knife is a San Mai That I showed earlier this summer ,There was some holes in the edge so I regrid the edge and repolished the blade. Then cold blue the hole thing. The handle is elk with file work on the back and plumber solder on the end. Next is a belt knife The handle is elk . I still need to polish the edge. This one I forges out of a cultervart dics , Handle deer and plumber solder on the front and the pin The is a little little knife had a crooked antler handle and was not happy they way it felt.I deciede to put pin down the handle The pins are welding rod.

Good stuff man! You need to try that threaded tang deal with the tap and die I sent you... a wrought Iron Buttcap wuld look great with them bigger ones. That crown antler looks great on the little plow disc knife. Your blades have a certain JamesGIII styling in the profiles, definitely a distictive style bro!

Yes the knives are very distinctive.. AND large think one of those would look very good tucked into a belt on a buckskin dress.. it would surely make a statement.. probably would not have to worry about ccw charges. Beautiful work as always James. Too bad I didn't get a chance to meet ya when I was out your way. oh well guess I can keep buying lottery tickets and hoping I can travel wherever and whenever I wished.. be fun wouldn't it? I know I'd dress to impress with one of those large knives tucked into my belt. 2nd one down's my favorite.
