Hi folks. My friend Paulette, aka joanne sent me a link and gave me an invite, so here I am. My name is John M Cohea and I'm a full time towboater and a part time knifemaker. I work mainly in frontier style period knives and sheaths that are usually made from rawhide covered leather. joanne was kind enough to post up a couple of pieces I have made. I will be posting more as time goes by. Thanks for having me!!!

Hello, Buckshot here. Just registered and wanted to say howdy to you all. I've recently registered at gunfighter.com and noticed Grizzly McCoy from north La. was online. Anyway, I'll be checking out the "Camping" section of this sight first then the others. Looks like a good forum for "outdoors" in general. See 'ya.

Howdy buckshot. Thanks for joining up. We just like all the old primitive type stuff. Don't really want to put any limits on anything but we try to stick with the old timey ways if ya know what I mean.

Yeah I had trouble too for a while. I found that copying the IMG code directly from photobucket, and pasting in the post works best for me.

Hey glad to see you all joining up.. I do know a nice gal I wish would join...but. she's not really into forums but she sure does know her stuff about tanning skins and all the craftwork, even trapping and guns and knives most likely.. she sure does awesome work and maybe if you've read enough about brain tanning online you've already read some of her work...so maybe!?!? I'll try to encourage her some more to join up and share some of her talents here with us all.
