Hello as all I'm an 60 old french BP flintlock shooter, I live near the german border. I hope You excuse my poor english ! I like the outdoor life like the "coureurs des bois" (I'm not a reenactor, just for fun) Very happy to join this group.

welcome Michel. glad to have you here. we have a wide range of interest here, from shooting black powder to tanning hides and everything in between. i'm sure you will fit in fine

Welcome to the camp Michel. As Billy has said we are a varied group of individuals with a multitude of talents and knowledge. please make yourself comfortable and set an yarn a spell or two.

Hi Michel. Welcome to the forum. It would be a pleasure to read your posts however your spelling! Commendable that you are reading and writing our language. Good for you! My French is extremely poor. My 15 y/o daughter did quite well in her French class last semester. I loved to hear her using her newfound language:D. I was sure proud!
I'm not into the reenacting thing either. Just like trying to honor the pretty critter! I try. Think I need to build my own tannery before I'm satisfied that I am 'honoring' them! Lol
