I'm going to post this picture although it's not my quiver, I hope the guy that made it doesn't mind. He doesn't even live in this country, I think some of you have ran into him on other forums. I have a big want to build one of these, and it's not that easy. I even have the mountain lion but I might want to use something else the first time, there was a little chat going about using a fox for making a quiver on another thread. I need a good look at how this is made, or one similiar. Joanne have you made these before? I know someone has, I just need the plans!

I think this is Redwinds.. never thought to ask him to join!! I will.. he's probably awake right now. He's spooky good at this stuff..Not to mention a heckuva great guy.. i LOVE the coyote quiver he made. the otter one too.. ooooweee I can see the chocolate looking fur from the otter in my mind.... just great work. This guy is unbelieveably talented! I am sure he would be pleased to help with the plans. I'll write him and ask, Allen.

Hadn't heard back on his personal email so I sent him another from another forum messenger. Don't know how he could refused as I begged.. and said PLEASE and thank you. He does the greatest quillwork, doesn't he, Allen? The shirts he's posted pics of is very awe inspiring. I hope that he should join and post some pics of that work here as just imagining the effort that is took to do that much quillwork is mind boggling to say the least :-D. He loves to collect animal pics that are very beautiful too. just have to wait'n see.

yeah, thats redwind, i wasn't sure if anyone would recognize that or not. I kept a good email going with him for awhile. He really does do fine work and real nice guy to talk with. There are several guys from europe that re-enact and craft american history art. I know of one guy in the AMM that fly's over for rendezvous in the rockies and does a very good impression of a fur trapper. The quill work they learn to do is nothing but amazing,, not many in our own country can do it.

yep Billy, that would be a feller named char. I don't know him personally, if everything goes well with my attempt at the AMM I hope to get to meet him. That bag your talking about may the one that I seen,,, inspired by alfred miller I would think. I'm impressed by what some of the euro's are doing. And so many "over there" have much interest in American History. It was brought to my attention however... American history which is made up of foreigners.. if we look at it like close it wasn't that far back on the family tree that our ancestors went into the rockies. For some it can be a few generations, at least a few can be placed in the civil war really quick. Would be the same for char and redwing, their close ancestrial family may be here. Hope you try building a bow, it's alot of fun!
