James I really like your bowie knives. You have a spacer between the blade and the guard, what is the purpose of that?

Just for the color , that away that wrought iron and the blade not blend togeither. On the drawing i have they used a black dyed leather. Thanks for all the nice words.

Me and Billy was talkin that we read somewhere that back in the day there was somebody makeing rifle stocks out of it ,bet it was heavy
