I worked on this one at the end of summer and fall. I finished it up about xmas , I want to do a bead drop on the handle but I have not found anything I like ,So I am going to let it set for awhile.The cap is german silver that I silver solder the first time so I am realy proud of that. Blade- Wrought iron.Bit 1095 Handle- Exrta curly maple Handle finish. tru oil, With a rawhide handle grip with copper tacks This is the edge after I choppes on a chinas Elm tree.

how hard is it to forge weld /I havent tried it yet but Im getting a new blower that I hope to make things easier on me.

Cody It take practice, Some time I can get it done and then somtimes I suck. You need a deep hot fire and some borax to keep your welds clean. I wire welder help alont to hold your metal togeither .
