Hello, How's the weather?Saw on todays news a Baby was in a Tornado, seems it was out of NC,about 40 miles or so South of Raleigh Carolina. The baby was picked up and set down outside of the house, and found outside after the child had flown in the air and rested on a woodpile. It was only 3 months old, there's a miracle.Phoenix, how's the weather in South Carolina? And how's everybody else today?I knew you mentioned y'all live in SC. There's alot of good information on the website.I went over and looked at at some of the various websites listed. Are there any updates to those websites mentioned here? The tin craft web site was interestin too.My sister and I had noticed the tin lamp covers, over at one of the Rendezvous.

The weather hit us Friday night into Saturday morning. Made for an eventful turkey hunt for my friend Mike and myself. Things have cleared up now but the hunt is over.

We're alive and kickin.. the Dunwurkin farm is still here, we had some wind, rain, and hail, but nuthin likely to blow that log cabin down. Our brothers and sisters in NC however, had it BAD... Last I heard 40 some people were killed in 3 states. Lord help 'em, they've got to bury thier dead AND try to rebuild. Funny, I aint seen no mention of Japan or India sendin aid to those in the path of destruction... Maybe I just missed that broadcast...

Glad that you are all ok. It is raining here. My yard has turned into a marsh. I manage to fall and slide down a small hill tonight while trying to carry a bale of hay up it. lol It is really mud city. All the animals look a muddy mess. My while long hair sheep look like drenched rats.

Phoenix, You're a pretty good fella checkin on your brothers,& neighbors like that. The other evening when my son was travelin back into Oklahoma,I could not rest until I knew he was really Ok. Often times, people just say,"Don't worry, their OK" and maybe they don't lose no sleep. But,some folks just gotta know that others are alright. And that's pretty good in my books,it speaks well of you.Kinda, like in a troop, they all have to look out for one another, and that what good neighbors do.I know earlier today,I read where Popular Bluff, had flooded terribly, they had to call in alot of help. And I saw plenty other places, destroyed by Tornado's.And 20 yrs ago,I came thru a town, that while I was passing thru, the Tornado was absolutely, behind us.Little did I know,my mother who was a very God fearin Woman, and knew alot about Indian sayins that was told to her, passed down by her mother, even regarding weather, she was very aware, something was really wrong. And we barely made it out of town. When a great deal of the towns, behind us was destroyed,in some places completely demolished. But,she,I and my children, made it home completely safe.I will never forget, what it's like, when you have a Tornado,on your heels.Lately.we've had days, and days,of rain and hail."April showers brings may flowers," MY oldest son, says he hates the desert, and want to be near the rain, the rivers, creeks, lakes, and fishin, who can blame him.Hope All is Well!!! My prayers go out for everyones safety...

It aint that I'm such a great fella, Just I've been through the "lost everything gotta start over" thing a time or two myself. The good lord provided for me, through some of the folks on this board that I still owe... I'd be a sorry sob not to offer the same in return. I may look like a shady character, but I aint at heart. If the Lord needs me to parcel out what little he's given me, it's his to do so, and I'm glad for it. I am quite frightened that I aint heard from billy, cody, zach, david, or grizz. They WERE in the worst of it, and I hope all is well for 'em. Storm coulda just killed thier power or internet, but I aint gonna rest easy till I hear from 'em.

I understand what your sayin...and as I mentioned before you got some good friends.Good friends aren't so easy to find.As you probably know already, when you got money,ya got alot of friends. And when things get as you mention. That's when ya find out who your closest friends and family are. It's very tough, this last yr or two has been a very difficult one,for different folks.Jobs, when you live in a small town, are difficult to find.I used to have way toooo much work. And "Thank the Lord,"he does help us.So,the guys were in the worst of it...I will keep prayen too!Phoenix,I didn't finish readin the days news,I get my news from my computer. But,what I was sayin,is you seem very genuine about your friends, and not everybody will lose sleep like that.I know...because I always had to be aware of all things goin on around me.My former husband was in LE.And I never changed from being very alert when problems were near.Or if the kids hadn't made it in home.Till I knew all is well.... Some folks say Oh, well...but,some folks can't say just OH,well...They haveta know all is well!!!Sometimes the good Lord just gives us a peace in our hearts, about a situation...
