You can email me your pics and I'll post them for you Joe. In the journals I don't think I have never seen it mentioned as a "bag" , it's always shooting pouch, bullet pouch, or just pouch. Here's a few of mine, each gun I buy gets a new pouch and horn.. Here's for a .50 cal rifle, my Miller's pouch with Katie York quill work, and a buffalo horn. here's whats inside-- a tin powder charger maybe 60 grains, i can't remember since I havn't used it much, i normally palm my powder. Always some linen tow, a screwdriver thats maybe the best example of a period screwdriver/turnscrew for the time period. A tapered tow worm , a little bag of ammo, and a brush and pic. I carry very few patches. Next is my trade gun pouch, it's bark tan elk, This powder horn has always been a little too big, I'm going to cut it down next time I catch it empty. Here's whats inside.. another tin charger, plus the two horn chargers I made. I use different charges with the trade gun since it shoots shot or ball, sometimes both. Always linen tow , another screwdriver , shot flask with #5 shot, pocket knife and my fish hooks. The trade gun is a 20 guage, I use a .580 ball. The round leather is for wadding shot. This gun fouls more, I'll use a heavy tow worm most of the time, but the spring tow worm is still handy. Next is my pistol pouch , I just finished the horn today, it still needs a strap. not much inside it... my .45 pistol is the only percussion gun I own and for lack of anything better I use a ted cash cap dispenser thing...a little farby but it'll have to do. A .45 cal tow worm and a few .410 balls. I'll have to throw some patches in the pouch before I go out with it next. another pouch, for a .50 cal Caywood, the gun is about worn out. Barktan deer, and a cheesy little horn that needs a strap. A cool little sheet metal pipe I copied after an original. I could keep going all night, but it's someone elses turn now.

Great pouches, beaudro. I love that real aged buckskin look. I sell a lot of hides for fancy stuff that will probably never see dirt, that I try to make as perfect as possible, but when I make stuff for me, the imperfections don't matter.
