Would appreciate any and all prayers this week! I'm in charge of our Bible School's craft project for this week. I usually figure 100 kids. However, we usually only have about 40 pre-register and the rest just show up Monday morning with a few stragglers throughout the week. This yr we have over 70 pre-registered. Wow! Who knows how many children we will end up with this yr. It is a very high energy week. I have great helpers, but all the problems stop with me. I get to figure things out. lol My helpers always give great input, and it amazes me that they come back to help me every yr. I've gotten them into some real interesting projects that stretched both children and workers. lol I love how the children's confidence in themselves has grown since I started. They now believe me that they can make really cool things.
On the run,

Thanks for the vote of confidence!
Just to report in we had 92 children yesterday, and we who knows how many more will come today. One of my craft helpers is a precious older women who has been with me for yrs. This yr she is having back pains. Please keep her in your prayers, she is and has been such a blessing to me over the yrs. I "hate" to see age sneak up on her, but it does it to all of us.
The children are excited about the craft. I took my camera to take pics for all of you, but got so busy that I forgot all about it. lol I will try again today.
Off to play again, The kid who never grew up,

Thanks everyone for your prayers. I made it. We had 122 different children come through our craft room. We ran in the hundreds all except the first and last day. What did we make? My workers and I had pre-cut and stenciled lines on 9" squares of canvas, and sorted rocks into 5 rocks per snack bag. The children painted two sets of rocks different colors - day 1. I had some tell me, "Look I don't need a paint brush I can paint them with my hands!" lol Thankfully we had paint shirts and buckets of water. Day 2- They turned the rocks into bugs by adding the second color. Day 3 - We painted the canvas tic tac toe boards Day 4- They glued eyes to all their rocks so that their bugs where no longer blind, and some of the older classes laced the draw string through a pre-made cloth bag. Day 5 - No kids in craft. They practice for their program. Craft staff and extra helpers. Fold, count, match names, and bag the tic tack toe boards and rocks to go home at the end of the day. God provided great helpers for me, but I must admit that I stretched my workers a bit. lol ( I even managed to stretched myself.) There were times in the week that I know they thought our leader is crazy. Wonder if they figure it out that they were right? Their craft leader is crazy. The preschool and the kindergarten class we just tried to get them to follow instructions. LOL. But the older classes got to be very creative. It was just amazing to stand and look at all the different varieties of bugs and boards.
