My good freinds Joe (intothewest1836) and his amazing wife Tammy (seets se bea) just happen to bring this over the other day as a gift to me. I don't think I've ever been giving anything like this before, some of us know just how much work is involved in tanning a buff hide. It's the back half of a bull, a taxidermy took the front cape for the hunters mount. I still can't figure out where they were hiding this , I've been to their house and never seen it. Amazing freinds I have, and very special.

you might be able to see how soft it is by looking at the wrinkles near the bottom on each side of the center. Amazing soft, especially for a bull. I can't thank my friends enough. I've been blessed with good friends for sure.. From Louisiana to Pennsylvania, to Sweden, and all over the country.. excluding Washington DC ,,, I'm not sure about those guys, I don't think they want friends.

We are glad you like your robe and happy to give it to you. Right before you came to fix the lights in the garage, Joe moved the hide to the barn. Two days later when you came to re-wire the barn we moved it back to the garage. When you helped Joe replace the sheetrock in the garage we put it back in the barn, you almost seen it during one of those days, so I moved it into the back bedroom. After you finished the garage and the paint dried you came to hang the ceiling fan in that bedroom, so I moved it into the garage again. You almost seen it the night you came over to watch True Grit , it was in the garage, wet with soaking brains, we laughed because you never smelled it. We figured your around it so much you didn't think about it. It did turn out real soft, Joe says he is going to move all of his hides around and see if that does the trick on the others! Thanks for all your help in the past, glad you like the robe.
