Hey, Someone on here was asking about this pic. I'm not sure who. I was going through old photos and found it. Again it is old. The children are much bigger now. They grow way to fast... I'm sure that Loren and I are just the same though. stallsmiths

it was me liza, this photo really impressed me long ago on the braintan site. did a sheepskin, alum softening today, so soft, thinkn of makn underpants, or bra with it. ohb shucks, it is not buckskin, so it would probably change my voice if it dries on me!{ disadvantage of alum tanning}

I like that little cree strap dress. Nice clothes. Your kids are fortunate. My older kids grew up with us involved in AMM and making all their clothes and all that goes with primitive camping. I feel bad for my grandkids whose parents don't seem to have any interests. How boring. There is noting to bond parent and child when they don't enjoy exploring life's adventures together. Dlt

I think sometimes it just takes a while to catch up with them. Our oldest wasn't too interested at home but now that she's out in AZ she is really beginning to see those muley's in a different light. Good for her! Bout time.

A picture from last summer of the girls in their dresses. You can tell which buckskin is new and which has been washed a few times.

Hannes, Well, they don't dress like that all the time. In this pic, we were at a re-enactment of the 1700-1800's, so people expect us to be dressed as pioneers or indians. We get some odd looks when we are dressed that way and stop at the store for gas or something, but I don't think we've gotten any negative responses. Here's a pic of our tent at that "pioneer frolic"
