Yes sir, I cut 'em, stamp'em, sun 'em then I oil 'em! ;D
I do everything except skin the hide and tan it. Chuck Burrows has been a great help with the history and patterns of different decades and all. I haven't had a chance to shoot Lil' Lilly yet. I just found 'er this week. She was sittin' in a glass counter and the minute I saw 'er she asked me to take 'er home. So....being the gentleman that I am....I did just that!
Do you do leather work, Billy?

i do very little leather work. i've made some knife sheaths and some possible bags out of leather, but nothing like what you do. i would like to get into doing that and would love to make my own slim jim style holsters. chuck burrows does fine work and i visit his web site on a regular basis, just so i can drool yep cooner, you can't say no to a lady like that

wow, that makes me want to go out and buy the gun just for a holster like that. I like my leather projects, thats a tempting project , although I might stick with a plain starter kit.

Beaudro, I use patterns of my own making if I have the gun in hand. The cutting pattern for this holster was a gracious gift of a friend. The designs are my own from looking at other holsters and taking elements from different ones that I like and putting together into one holster. And sometimes I screw it up and have to do something a little different to hide the screw ups. Hope we don't get ya in too much trouble. ;D
