Came out cool. That's quite the knife. I love those brass tacks. I have some from an old bridle I took apart for the metal insert from the horses blinder. Those work great for a scraping tool. I haven't yet used them however. Maybe put those in when the skin's wet? I made a couple of sheath's so far and sewed the skins damp with a glovers needle and also added a welt of tanned hide so that I'd be able to stitch some braintan to that softened skin. I also taped the knife up.. sticky side out first (of course) then wrapped and wrapped the outside of the knife and stuck it in the sheath while it was drying. B/F wants me to make a holster for a 22 one of these days. That'd probably be a good use for those brass tacks. Nice work Billy. thanks for sharing.

Good work, Both of you. Redthunder, Those are some prety serious lookin knives Billy, I'm workin with some of the sane stuff, I found that duabing on some veggie oil the night before makes the critter hide a bit more cooperative.
