Today was the second day I worked on hides like I use to be able to. I prestretched one, Joe prestretched two, and dehaired/degrained the three that I had fleshed with the pressure washer. He STill says he can dehair in about half the time because, the hair/grain comes off easier than non-pressure washed ones. Our hero Paulette. Felt good to be doing hides again. What? DVD? Oh ya, almost finished taping. Got side tracked for a while. Hope you like it. dlt

Great to hear all around, LT. I'm glad you're getting back to the swing of things once again. I'll bet it does feel good. I'm glad that you and Joe are finding the washer to be really useful. Great that you have such an amazing guy to work on hides and skins with you. I find I can just work myself silly with just a LOT of hides. Yike might be another very accurate description, lol. The kids being off school are encouraging me to get away from so much scraping all at once, which is and isn't a good thing! The washer really seems to help me out a lot. I wish I could turn it up more as I'm sure it could be a lot more helpful even but everytime I do I lose the prime and have to go climbing into the crawlspace to reprime our pump! So I'm sure I still have to do a lot more by bar and beam than I might if all was working up to par but, oh well........big sigh. Onward! Giddyup. clk-clk Lots more skins to tan :-D
