Finished my smithy!! I just need to finish siding it, get some gravel for the floor--odds and ends, but basically I'm ready to light a fire tomorrow. Does anyone know the proper act of reverence when lighting the first fire in a new forge? lol ! I'll try to get some pictures posted soon so you all can make some suggestions for improvements and hopefully Get some ideas if I did some things right.

I believe the proper ceremony for breaking in a new forge is,,, BEER! What are you making first ?

yup, it definately involves beer. Even if ya just kock it over and splash it over stuff that weren't 'sposed to get wet like I just did.
