i just had a interesting phone conversation with a guy that worked with my dad before dad retired. he called me wanting to know where to get koh. being the kind feller i am and he being friends with my dad i told him i had some to spare if he wanted it. he came and picked some just a few minuets ago. i just assumed he was going to tan a hide , and started questioning him. it seems koh has a lot of uses other than swelling the grain of a hide. i'm just a simple country boy and he talked way over my head(which aint hard to do ) he is designing some kind of pump do dad thing a my flitchy, and the koh is suppose to keep the sludge from building up and all the metal do dads in the pump clean. imagine that

KOH, or we call it fly ash here at the coal fired power plant. It's hauled off and sold for alot of purposes, i think some brick or cinder block makers use it.
