Beautiful sheath. What do you use in the bottom of your sheath to keep the knife tip from going through? I made a really nice little beaver, fur on, knife sheath but had problems with the knife going through the hide, which isn't very thick. I stuffed some leather down in the bottom, but wondering if there as an actual better way, or more traditional or what?

The the inner case is made from scrap 9 oz leather, i put a welt on the bottom and sides i did with out it. the welt protects the stiches hope it helps.
