i got a hide in the buck now that had so many knife scores in it i don't think it will be any good.i'm thinking about just pushing the hair off with my hands so as not to damage the grain and letting it be my guinnie pig for bark tanning.i've read on "Braintan.com"about bark tanning and will read it all again.has any one out there ever tried bark tanning to give me some pointers

I have a beaver tail that if I can get it skinned Im going to try to barf tan it I have heard that thats what you have to do to get them to come out right .

lol.. wonder why your posts keep ending off with "IT" L.T.? just below a last post at the bottom right and above the quick reply box is another area that makes bigger reply bxs, V. maybe if you used that one your messages wouldn't be cut or end like that.. wouldn't want to miss any of your replies..
