Anyone remember Ray Milligan, commerical trapper during the last fur boom? Used to enjoy his articles about trapping trips here and there. These days he's an elk guide in New Mexico. Anyway, the point of this post: I emailed him asking for his catalog and mentioned how much I liked the all metal trowel I bought from him way back when and used and abused for about 20 years. Other day the UPS guy showed up and gave me a package with a new trowel, no invoice and Ray's catalog. (He no longer sells the trowels)
Now, I've read where some people dissed Milligan on other forums, but far as I'm concerned he's alright with me. That trowel is worth at least $30, at todays prices. I thought about putting this on trapperman, but I don't want fifty people buggin him for free stuff..........
