Now, that would have been fun. Nothing like getting to gether for a trapwaxin Bee!! Joe was wondering if the wax has dye in it. Those sure came out looking a lot better than before they went in. It was fun looking at all the stuff in the photos. NIce Knife!!!! Excellent choices in reading material too!!! I have a set of fire irons like thos around somewhere too. I see you have some connibears too. Do you like those as opposed to the longsprings? When I trapped with the old guy from town, he used Connibears and snares. I like using snares better. Can't wait till trapping season and posting photos!! Although hell, it is supposed to be up in the 60s here tomorrow, horribly warm for this time of year. Great photos. Good idea to take them.

Well the dye was in another barrel but I got hung up with some chain and all the traps didnt get dyed but the ones that did sure came out good .I like some of all I like long springs on the dam or at sent mounds but like conibears and snares else where .I wish we were up there beaver trapping down here a beaver swamp is so thick with briars and water you cant cuss a cat through it and the dam will be right in the middle of it ,cypress knees about 6" tall everywhere just a hard way to go but me and Shady just cant shake the habit.
