I am honored to post this pic of Longtrail's new bag to share with you all! Her words"I made this bag for an injun friend of mine. He had some elk teeth I wanted and so.... No ya'll!!! In ain't the friggin Gateway Lizzard!!! The guys' animal spirit helper is the lizard, his last name is Pinto......... Hence the pinto colored lizard. I used size 14 single cut beads that the photo does not come anywhere close to showing how beautiful it looks with the light reflecting off the cut beads. Pinto has one eye, so the lizard has one eye too. The back is set up with belt loops. It measures 4" x 6". The lizard looks like it is above the background when seen in person. Now Im so spoiled working in detail with the 14s that even the 13s seem too big. I was amazed at how well it came out even between the fingers of the lizard. I love the detail with these small beads. But man did it take me a while to get it done. I never could get the hang of beading just from the surface. I didn't like the looseness of the beads, that's why I never cared for the squaw stitch. I start from under the hide, put four or five beads on, lay them down, go down through the hide, back up two or three beads, come up and go through the last two or three and put on another four or five. Maybe not traditional, but it's how I have always beaded and always will. I like my beadwork tight and secure. now I have more elk teeth, someday a dress? Ya, right. I'm only needing about a hundred more teeth!!! My girfriend Diva is going to post this for me." lt My pleasure Longtrail.. great job! What an inspiration your beadworking is.. wow.. outta sight pretty! thanks for giving me the pleasure of posting it for ya! pjG PS.. daing.. THAT is a LOT of tiny little beads LT! Congrats.. keep doing that!

thanks gurrlfriend, I wish Id taken a better photo, but that doesnt look to bad, It is a little elongated in this photo. and the photo really doesnt do it justice. The background beads are actually a vivid turquoise. Seeing it in person the whole bag just sparkles from the cut beads. thanks again gurrlfriend, I miss my photo shop and posting lots of photos here at my favoite site. lt

A kodak 110 would be an upgrade for me !!!! Hey, speaking of cameras, anyone ever built and used a pinhole camera? they are amazing, you can make them out of cardboard!!!! The exposure time is long, so you get all sorts of unique effects with them. Thanks guys, for the compliment. lt

I found a better photo if anyone wants to see it. The color and clarity are better and also a shot of the back and belt loops. lt

Sure.. I'd love to. I mess around lots taking pics under different lighting situations, etc. Sometimes makes all the difference in the world.
