Always wanted to work on a cat! My thoughts are, oh man are these creatures ever soft. What sharp claws it has! Haven't decided how to tan it yet. Well done are my only thoughts on that;). wish I had some pics of this one, live. They have the most incredibly beautiful eyes. One thing that preserving the wildlife does for you is to serve to remind one how small we are (and precious)in the realm of life as we know it. Do feel very blessed to work on this big kitty!

Don't have a clue what that's about Two Bit. Does sound exciting. I'm getting real attached to this cats skin! Certainly will be hard to part with. I am egg yolk softening it and hope to get it smoked tomorrow. The guy that shot it, blew a large size hole in its neck. Stitched up fine but is in need of repair already now! But from stitching the skin there I could tell there was a lot of thinning to do.
