Came through with heavy and tornadic winds and left my lodge flattened and telephone poles leaning on the gas pump cover by my daughters place of work. Everyone's ok and all things material can be fixed replace or repaired..Everything sure got a good dousing of the heavy rain. Hmm next time the clouds start looking threatening I will take the cover and tie it to the 'cover pole'! duh! yep this time the anchor rope broke the stakes holding the poles fixed on the ground.. cover can be repaired but I think it's about time I just got another one.. that painting I gave it to cover all the mildew it grew here in MI completely blocked out any light.. a real bummer right there so perhaps this is a good thing. I love my tipi but really didn't spend too much time in it since I painted it.. claustrophobia I guess.. So.. onward and up word.. This baby was flattened! Ominous looking clouds. Our eldest daughter place of work. Never experienced this much water in the yard. Ponies needed a good shower.. I'm sure they were sure scared by all the lightning. Poor things.
