I called and got the lowdown on our prices as of right now and it is(I will list the highest price paid) otter 40,coons7,fox 12,beaver 10,coyote 7. Forgot to ask about cats but aint likely to sell none cutthroat like that nohow but its better than it has been for a while .That is stretched and dried prices Cody, Ouch, those sound awfully low to me, even for southern fur. You guys ever try Groenewold? I got $18 on two beaver, one muskrat @5 one @7 and one @ $9. You have to ship, but I sent them these few for a sample and even with $15 shipping, I know I made more than I would have locally. These rats were ones I found in the freezer from one or two years ago and two were unprime mediums. And the beaver were large mediums, which are bringing $9 locally. I like selling to my local buyer, he's a good guy, and pays well on certain items, but I think I will be shipping more from time to time.

www.gfwco.com/Probably the biggest fur buyers in the country. Anyone can send to The NAFA auction or the Fur Harvesters Auction, but you have to meet the agent's truck on his route. I've never sent to the auctions, myself. I like my money asap, but like I say, with Grouny, it's not a long wait and there are no buy backs. Some people have furs at the big auction companys for years before selling. On the plus side, the auctions deal directly with the Chinese and Russian buyers, but so does Grouny, I'm told. I would think that to go through a broker you need large lots of fur. Some fur buyers do it that way.

Is it the NAFTA you say you have to wait on your fur to sell for a while ?
