Got this on a trade years ago. I believe it was origionally a saber and was made into a knife. It has a bone handle. Pretty nice piece.

Nice knife, and welcome to the forum. I used to make knives in Great falls... Where in the state is Misouri Breaks?

somehow I didn't get to finish. The Missouri breaks actuall are all along the Missouri river as it passes west to east. To see where we are, look on a map of monatna, see where the Missouri makes a "U" in the river, thats where the Musselshell empties into it, and we are about four miles south of that point on the west side of the river. As you head east on the missouri from here, it gets more scenic. West gets flatter.
