I recently made these hightop mocs, with pony size beads, yellow earth paints mixed with hide glue and copper conchos. It was the first time I had made hard sole moccasins. I used some buffalo rawhide that had been hanging for a couple years and not all of it was real hard, the way the sole is attached to the upper is it is sewn from the top, down through half the sole, move over for the next stitch and enter half way through the thickness of the sole and back through the leather, moving over for next stitch. This way the stitches are not on the bottom of the sole. Sorry it is not so clear in the photo but maybe the description will suffice. Great mocs girls !!!!!!

I have plenty of rawhide, scraped too.. send money, $$ lol.. you can save money by tanning it and sewing them and beading them yourself!
