Here are pics of what we woke up to yesterday. We have had days of flooding, and we had over 6 inches of snow on top of slush. They have told the student that if you live on a flooded road where the buses can't get to you will not be counted absent from school. lol Yesterday, they just canceled the whole day of school. I had to go out. The dirt roads where awful. You could feel the mud grabbing and pulling your car. When I first saw it I wanted to complain, but after seeing the news about Japan I was actually thankful for the snow.
One thing I can say for it, the snow is beautiful to look at. It sure makes the yard look cleaner. lol

kentuckybushcraft: Just found and signed up on this forum today. Experienced camper (20 yrs) and novice hunter/trapper. Did some hunting and trapping as a youth and fell out of it after high school. Goals are to harvest deer this year, elk or bear next year.

gregsleathers: New to this site. I am a leather craftsman. Retired, and started working again at my new home in Carolina Beach NC. There are a lot of Civil War buffs out here and it's hard to not get involved. So I am looking for some leather patterns for Civil War gear
