I got three more finished up this weekend From the top, Moonedge's 1800's trade knife, Arquereros big scandi, and last but not least, a nice little paring knife for my loving wife.

You knife makers amaze me. The craftmanship involved is incredible.

To give you guys an Idea of what I make them out of, The top one is Lawnmower blade, pallet wood (rosewood), and 4 guage copper grounding wire The big scandi in the middle was cut down from a rusted swordblade, folded in half and hammer welded to make it single edged and thicker (grizz's knife is made from the same piece) with a piece of maple, again from a pallet for the handle. the guard on this one was a cuttoff scrap of SS from work, I hot punched the hole. The little knife for the wife is made from a VW fromt torsion spring and wood from a hardwood tap and die set box. I love reworking Junk. It's the ultimate in recycling. My NA ancestors wasted nothing, I try to carry on the tradition.
