Hard to tell with only a couple photo's... The touchmark should mean it's a custom head, but the handle looks store bought. I'll see if I can find that mark registered somewhere

The name is belt axe , it's made by a guy in Massachusetts named Todd Hughes. A lot of reenactors buy from him. Calling it a fake might be a little harsh, perhaps the word replica is better. Hughes made good replicas like this one, it's an 18th century regiment issued belt axe. The French made made many of these but I think this one is an English replica. Some call this a tomahawk, especially when it's sheathed and they can't see the whole thing, that starts the idea that military carried tomahawks in a sheath.

I`m not familiar with that replica but it is the type of hatchet/belt axe I like to carry.
