Great work on both of you,This is one of my fav, knives design. It to hot to work in my smithy or my shop, I been doing alittle but wow this heat killing me. I have some knives to post.

Thank you James, it's been really hot around here also. I seen 107 today, starting at 11:00 am, and it's still above 100 at this time. I've been managing to get into the shop late at night and early morning, but thats about it. Looking forward to seeing your pics, post soon.

I used buffalo horn, I cut out 2 pieces big enough and softened by boiling. As they soften I clamped them between two boards to finally get them flat. Finally sand them down real thin, there might be someone selling horn scales around knife supplies, that would take a lot of work out of it, but they need to be real thin. over an 1/8inch is too thick.

Crazy crow has the black water buffloe scale but they warp real bad in the wet weather.
