No, Cody, I did not forge that. I should have posted the link to where I got this. It's a kit, it's cast steel and comes in the rough. It's an easy kit and fun to do. It's a little bit of a job removing the casting marks and fitting the handle thats all. www.redaviscompany.com/edgedweapons.html

That company sells them 20 in long and they have an 20 in oversized one. I read somewhere that some of the natives that lived on the plains liked a long handle since they are on horse back.
