Thanks Grizz. What I do is sand the bone as smooth as I want it, Then play a torch over it lightly, scorching some areas, then rub it down with leather dye or stain while it's warm and wipe it back down.

Thanks Cody! Yeah, mammoth ivory and tooth are some of my favorite handle materiel, and I use it quite often, and try to keep as much on hand as I can afford. If you ever decide you want that Bowie made, let me know and I'll hook you up!
