Anybody got a good recipe for it? I've never had it before. Heard it is good and want to try it.

Sure ,a Navajo woman showed me how over on the Rez.a few years ago . Now she told me that you had to have Blue Bird Flour (a brand made just north of the Rez. )well I thought she was nuts but got back here and found that I could make it with regular flour but it really was'nt the same .Anyway you take some flour (Plain ) and add a pinch or two of salt and some water and mix it up with your hands ,thats important cause if you dont later when your flatening it out your hands will stick ,when its sticking to your hands just wipe it off with your hands and keep goin mix it and need it alot till its really smooth it shood be about like any bread dough (bisquit ) then take some out and need it in your hand and start flatening it out like a tortilla it really is a big flour tortilla basically and work it around till its about six inches round and then flip it between your hands trying to make it get bigger sort of like throughing pizza dough till its about one inch smaller than your skillet and really thin .Then drop it in about a inch of greese and when it bubbles up some turn it over .It shoud be sort of brown and just do it till your dough is gone .I know this is alot of directions to do not much but its kind of one of those things you have to see done .Come over and Ill make yall some .

If you can get your hands on some real smoked bacon, {I get mine from the German Deli in town} slice it real thick, fry it up then cook your frybread in that. Top it with honey and you are good till lunch! Jon
