Yes, it really is. Our favorite time to trap them is in winter when we snare beneath the ice. We caught one small one a few winters ago, and we decided to release it. When we did there was a small hole in the ice we had chopped, it was amazing how he just poured himself through that tiny hole! We were awed! Dlt

Do you have many bobcats out there? Prices on bobcat hides are up there. Do you have the pretty "Montana Pale" coyotes? I like to snare beaver at castor mounds in the spring, but our laws here won't allow a beaver snare on land, it has to be in the water. I'll have to find a pic of one of our beaver swamps here.
