I had a friend who made these faithfully. I've never got around to making them. Do not EAT You gather jewel weed (plant) and add just enough water to keep it from sticking in the pan as you simmer it. Than you strain the liquid and freeze in ice cube trays. Now you can have access to jewel weed for poison ivy the whole year and not just when the plant is growing. My friend's husband worked in the woods and often got poison ivy in the middle of winter. It worked great for them.
