do you have a reciepe on how to cook bone marrow. i have heard it is good and would be willing to try it, only if i'm sure i'm cooking it right. don't want no trip to the e.r.

Billy, you may have already cooked it , you get it when you cook arm roast. Thats where these marrow bones come from. These in the picture were roasted in an oven. Of course we can do the same with a dutch oven. Any bone-in cut of meat has some marrow, some chefs will remove the bone from that roast, then take out the marrow and put it back in the pot, it gives the meat a really great flavor. Marrow bones of the buffalo were really favored by trappers. they knew where the good stuff was. Here's something else on Marrow ...
